How to estimate the margin for fading for different system?

Hi all,

when considering the dynamic range of ADC, some margin for fading should be saved, but for different systems, how to decide the margin level?

For example, DVB-T system with OFDM, what's the margin should be saved?
For CDMA system, what's the margin?
