Photovoltaics

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some info on how to design a solar cell-battery system. Nothing complex, just want to charge a battery using a solar cell. I can't seem to find any books for stuff like this. Thanks...

Hi,

Try this one:

Re: Photovoltaics

maybe you should think about ussing special circuits for that...

if you are going to use operational amplifiers, use one like LMC6042, it has a ultra low power consumption, specially for that kind of applicattions, but it is such sensitive, so take care of it...

Why use this kind of opamps, because, they are single supply and rail to rail, you can use the solar cell as the supply, and, like it needs a very low current supply source, you can use the rest of the current generated on the solar cell to charge the battery.... well, there are soo much circuits rolling by on the net, search one, study it, and think about using opamps with ultra low power consumption...
