buat running text microcontroller

Can anyone please teach me how to design a 89s51 running text display ?
Using 8x8 matrix led... Or 5x7 matrix led, but with 14pins one...
What component to use ?
How is the schematic diagram look like?
Note : I'm a beginner....

8051 to control 8279

For getting right answer use proper forum.

I did it long back using 80c51 & 8279 (keyboard & display control).Am not sure if you still get it in market.
If you refer the data sheet of 8279, it clearly mentions how can you connect matrix of LED's.
