snmp microchip

Hi all,

I develop SNMP Protocol on Microcontroller in C language.

I have certain doubt regarding how to interface MIB with SNMP.

Like i use any general MIB like System or interface MIB .

How to use this information in SNMP protocol & how retrieve this information ?

Any MIB may be tied to the SMP in a semaless way. Look at the MIB you are trying to interface for any custom details.

I have doubt about how integrate MIB with SNMP protocol in controller level.?

I know how to decode SNMP frame & how to response.

But i don't understand how to call MIB when specific query by server on SNMP protocol.

I start with SNMP ver 1.

I use microchip PIC18F series controller.

oh, microchip has their reference design for SNMP agent(Ver 1), I think you may take a look.
 

Dear cdcll

I know microchip as own Webserver with SNMP support but i want to know about basic behind this.
May be u r right, but Microchip cannot give any detail document for that application.
so may be i go through whole program to understand this basic.
Plz, help me to reduce my development time.!
