How to convert video signal from EGA to VGA standard?

I have EGA graphics card on some old computer and broken monitor. I have to plugin on some new VGA monitor for example TFT.

Does anybody know how to convert video signal from EGA to VGA standard?
 

ega vga converter

as i recall EGA was 640x350 .so to convert to VGA 640x480 ..you need quite a lot of electronics. But what still puzzles me Why .? why ? What is so valuable in your OLD ega board that deserves to go through that pain .
What can be achieved with such an ackward old standard with only 16 colors?

I'm trying to replace old EGA monitor on EEG (system for records the electrical activity on the brain's surface) with new VGA.
If you have shematic please post here I realy need it.

I think you ­would use the KIT converter: AL250, AL128 of Averlogic or DIDO of AURORA Mutilmedia.
If you are success, can you rewrite for me please?
