Looking for how to convert dielectric constant of any media in constant number.
i.e. Lets take any level sensor calibrate at 7 (dielectric constant). Now take that sensor put in different dielectric constant media such as 6.
It suppose to read same level value but due to change in dielectric number it change the value of level.

Re: How to convert dielectric constant of any media to a constnat number...

Are you sure that the sensor works on the capacitance of the fluid and not its density? if it does, you need a second sensor to balance out the change in dielectric constant.

Yes its works on capacitance. Second sensor how it going to balance. any i.e.

If you put second sensor in the bottom of the tank so it sees the liquid and from it, subtract the output from the top (level) sensor when they are both covered there outputs are both Xv so X - X = 0, if the top sensor is uncovered then you will have X - .7X = .3X, use this as an alarm/filling action.
Frank.

you saying that other sensor is in the media not outside of the media. Is ther any product, example available in market with circuit help.
