how to calculate total E field??

Hi
I have simulated a plane wave scattering by a cylinder (in HFSS V 11) .
I now want to plot TOTAL E field along a line through the cylinder at various heights . I think the plot i am getting from HFSS->RESULTS-> CREATE FIELD REPORT-> RECTANGULAR PLOT , option is only scattered field . How can I get the plot for Total E field .Can anybody help me?
Thanx in advance.

P.S -> I dont know anything about the field calculator as i am very new to these simulations.

You can change from Scattered to Total Field if you go to HFSS->Fields->Edit Sources. This is useful if you want to study the reflection or the transmission. If you have more problems, please post your hfss cylinder, and I will have a look to it.
