Do anyone has any reference how to calculate MTBF for a board? Is there any tool that does this?

MTBF calculation

If you do a Google search, you will find a wealth of information. Here is the search I used: http://www.google.com/search?q=mtbf...ent-ff&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1B3GGGL_enUS177US231&aq=t

We used to use spreadsheets with data we calculated from Bellcore manuals to calculate MTBF. Now we use a tool from Relex (http://www.mtbf.com/) that does a good job.

Doing another Google search comes up with some free tools: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rlz=1B3GGGL_enUS177US231&q=mtbf+calculation+tools&btnG=Search

I'm not sure about the free tools, but with MTBF, the calculations are only as good as the data supplied.
