I don't use Labview or Measurement Studio because still can't afford to buy the license now. So, a basic sample program using visual studio ( visual basic or c# or c++ ) is very nice for me... Install the MAX software, it will provide you simple test functions where you can visualize signals. I think there's also a basic version of "Signal Express" on the CD's.
