Bandgap voltage design

i'm a beginner in bandgap voltage design. from my previous study, i found that the bandgap voltage circuit usually need a higher voltage supply (usually from 3 to 5v).

is it possible to design a bandgap voltage using only 1.8v voltage supply with minimum circuit? (cmos technology, if possible avoid using op-amp,accuracy is not so important)

how to design?

thanks for your help.

Re: Bandgap voltage design

There are ways other than with a bandgap circuit to accomplish designing a voltage reference. If you are doing a bandgap circuit, however, you need the opamp. That is one of the components that makes it a bandgap circuit in the first place.

Thanks a lot. i'l try to find it.
