pl2303 tx led

Hi,
How can I connect a TX, RX LED indicator on PL2303 USB chip? The FT232 has 2 pins for TX, RX led but the PL2303 has none..
Any help will be appreciated..

4528 monostabile

You can build 2 circuits as per attached drawing and connect them to Rx and Tx lines of the PL2303..

pl 2303 rx

OK thanks for the scheme..just want to make it clear..the chip is CD4528, Dual Monostable Multivibrator?

How about this one I attached?
Thanks again..

pl-2303 tx

4528 is dual monostabile..
The reason I suggested monostabile is that pulses on Rx and Tx lines are very short so you would hardly see LED on..
Monostabile is trigged by even single transition and stays on for some time so you will be able to see it..
Regards,
IanP
