Then I need to add the footprint for every single component sepratly. I want to add the footprint 1 time in the component library.

you can use footprint manager for this purpose. tools->footprint manager.

you can use footprint manager for this purpose. tools->footprint manager.

In what context can you find tools->footprint? Should you be editing a component for example?

I do not see tools->footprint anywhere in Altium Designer.

Add the footprint to the symbol from the library and then update schematics.

In schematic page goto Tools>>Footprint manager ,there you can change footprint of same components at a time.
