I am interfacing a sony sensor on a LVDS serial interface. The frames are encoded with a specific sequence of 4 pixel to signal start and end of an image line.

The start sequence is 1 pixel all '1' followed by 2 pixel all '0' followed by 1 pixel to identify the type of code (start of line, end of line, etc).

For example, the hex value 0xFF0000AB indicates the start of an image line (4 pixel, 8 bit each). The following 8 bit would be the 1st pixel of that line.

Some time ago i ocassionally read a document describing that same encoding but i don't remember where it was. Does anyone know how this data format is designated? I know that it is sort of a standard and has not been invented by sony.
