I have seen lot of projects in fuzzy logic related to VLSI field I am not able to figure out how its related to Digital Design

Can anyone help me out

Whereas binary logic is simply 'all or nothing'...

Fuzzy logic has to do with the gray area in the middle, and how to configure digital logic to look at one or more gray areas, and decide whether the output should be hi or low.
