How is a CD Player connected in a car?

I was wondering how a cd player could be connected to the 12V supply of the car... besides i have even those 800W speakers which give out excellent output... How do you think is the wiring done? Where from the speakers get so much of power? Do they use a PMPO or Bridge Amplifier? Can anyone post a schematic if possible... Please help...
 

They get the power from en amp (where else?). High power car amps use switching step-up power supplies to get high enough voltage.

PMPO is nothing but a meaningless marketing term. I've seen tiny 0.5W RMS computer speakers advertised as 60W PMPO...
