Induction motor: "The single coil of a single phase induction motor does not produce a rotating magnetic field, but a pulsating field reaching maximum intensity at 0 degree and 180 electrical."

I understand that splitting the phase using capacitors produces a Rotating magnetic field in order to sustain rotation, but I'm unable to realize how it then rotates continuously even when hand started? Isn't there still no Rotating magnetic field? (no capacitors or no 3 phase then how?)
