The easy way for you to learn ocean scripting is to first use spectre (GUI) and create an ocean script from the simulator. Open that ocean script and look at the syntax of how to call spectre, how to do simulation for different analysis, formatting etc. That's how I learned it because I couldn't find a book that teaches ocean.
