How do i receive notification from a thread without replying to the thread initially?

Sometimes i want to follow a thread but dont want to post a reply to the thread at that particular moment.how can it be done?thank you.

Check for Thread Tools listbox, available on top of each Thread:

Thanks.problem solved.i never knew such tab existed.i was just looking for a kind of 'follow thread' tab.you just save me the stress of having to reply to a thread just to follow it.thanks once again.
