how design a Li-Polymer battery charger?

I want a circuit for charging a Li-polymer battry with 1500-1700mAhr capacity.
 

i would select the charge control IC first.

ti.com, linear.com, national.com etc etc all have battery charger sections and will help you to go and see and choose what you want,

you can choose from linear and switching chargers etc etc
