how can i control my lcd plasma through pic 16f877, i read about the ir remote codes of panasonic., but i dont know how to program them on pic. i also know the circuit of ir sensor, but can anyone guide me to how can i control it from pic through my voice.

how it works?
how can i program it?
please give me example for this

is dsPIC33 series can be programmed by pic kit2, or i ve to buy another programmer, becoz i,m very familiar with pic16f series, so if u can tell me how to program on this chip, i will be very thankful, yes and i also want voice recognition with the help of bitvoicer.. i saw a video of bitvoicer using with arudino to controll tv and amplifier

Some smart TVs have built-in voices controls, maybe you should change your TV with newer.

Just checked mine and it lists about 50 different dsPIC33 devices so there's a good chance it will do the one you choose.

Brian.

tell me sir Brian where i check ur devices, and one thing more please advice me which is best

I can't help you choose which dsPIC is best, I have never worked on voice recognition so I do not know which algorithms and hence PIC is most suitable.

You can see a list of which devices are supported by Pickit 2 by selecting "dsPIC" from the "Device Family" menu item then clicking on the "-select Part-" arrow. If you have not already done so, check for updates to the list of supported devices on Microchip's web site. I think the latest update is here: https://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/PK2DFUpdate-1-62-14.zip

Brian.

Voice recognition is very poor in such environments.
If you want reliable control I'd stick with gestures if I were you.
