How benefit from speaker constant volume velocity control

volume velocity control speaker

Hi
We know that a loudspeaker controller that would
enable the loudspeaker to produce a constant volume velocity output over a low frequency bandwidth would be beneficial to active noise control.
Attached is JVC's active sub woofer SX-DW7.
I want to know if this way could improve sound quality in audio applications.
