I need precise AC amplifier for measure AC voltage in input voltage range 10mV-750V frequency 3Hz - 1MHz.
The 1st stage is a compensated attenuator implementing a gain of x0.2 or x0.002
The second stage is made up of two amplifiers each configured for a fixed gain of x10.
For calibration and precise gains setting over frequency is need any digital controlled variable gain element.
I find this solution for compensated attenuator with programmable variable capacitor.

My question
1.Think of someone more modern solutions to multi level today
2. Can be 8-bit DAC in my involvement replaced with a digital potentiometer, for example AD5292
