Hello,

I am trying to plot Group & Phase Velocities using eigenvalues.
It should be either output variables or field calculator, but I could't do it so far.
Does anybody know how to do this ?

Thanks

Hi cyurt,

Phase velocity is ω/β, so this is simply the (angular) frequency of the eigenmode solution divided by: your specified phase angle (i.e. βd) divided by d (the length over which this phase angle is applied). The group velocity is the derivative of this quantity (you'll probably want to solve this numerically in MATLAB or some other tool).

Good Luck
