Hello Guys,
At the lab I have an electric field probe hanging on top of an electrical structure which has a large number of wire bonds. The wire-bonds pick up noise when an electric field is produced near them (capacitive coupling).
What I would like to do is to model this phenomenon. I have already drawn the structure with the wire-bonds and I have tried so many times to create something that could generate an electric field but with no success.
I tried to model the probe itself, which is simply a dipole. I also tried to use a waveport (not sure if it is a good idea, didn't work any how).
Could you guys please help me with this?
I should also add that that this is mainly a near-field issue.
Cheers
