help with reading a file in vhdl

Hi frndz,

I am trying to test a filter in VHDL. I am reading a HEX file containing the input samples to test. My problem is it reads only first 14 samples and ends the simulation rather than the 1024 samples in the file.

can some one suggest what could be the possible problem.

Rather than a file read problem, it sounds like an error in the code.

Please post some code.
