The main diffrence between USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 standars is the speed....
USB 1.1 works at 12 MBits/sec while USB 2.0 works at 480 MBits/sec.
This major increase in speed was due to drastic changes in the standard. The whole hardware also had to be changed.
Also USB 2.0 must has backward compatability....which means it should be able to comunicate successfuly with other USB 1.1 hardware.
USB OTG is a new standard from USB-IF that enable host and device roles swapping within the connection. That was not allowed in USB 1.1 and USB 2.0.
Hope this helps...If you have further questions don't hesitate...also refer to www.usb.org.
