hi everyone,

i am a mechanical engineer, i got a project that needs some electronic devices and circuits, can anyone help me to design the circuit?

my project description is as follows,

1. While we drive an automobile we often experience skidding while taking curves at higher speeds, this may turn fatal to some fellow drivers, to avoid such over-speeding in curved roads i like to employ a transmitter a few distance away from the curve which transmits the max. safe speed of that curve ahead (circuit 1)

2. A receiver part inside the vehicle receives this signal

3. The data received is compared with actual speed of the vehicle, if the actual speed exceeds the design safe speed of the curve, an alert system with LED Display and a siren or vibrator works to notify the driver

4. if the driver is not reacted in time the brakes are applied automatically with EBS (electronic braking system) (the automatic breaking is not stop the vehicle completely, but to slow it down to safe speed)

5. as a part of its demonstration i have to build a line follower with freeduino 1.1. building a line follower is ok for myself but i donno how to interface it with the above circuits

please could help me with the above circuits 1 to 4 (any one of them alone is also considered to be great ) and tell me how to interfacing it with a line follower,

thank you in advance

rather than using a transmitter and then receiving it & processing it. It would be better if there is some mechanism which can prevent from skidding or overturning of the car without complete application of brakes.
anti skidding vehicle can be built.
building a prototype is easy task (may be a robot) .
see this video below there is a link it is a video on self balance robot which will balance itself https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6VqASRawgg.
this idea is also used in airplanes, quadcopters to keep their alignment same idea with quiet a lot of modifications can be used in making anti-skidding car also.

thank you for your replay sir,

but an anti skid system will fail if the driver is not control the vehicle properly, for example if the driver is sleepy and cannot recognizes the curve in night, an anti skid system alone cannot save him and passengers, if an alarm is on in the car he may able to recover the controls back in time, also in modern vehicles we could employ automatic breaking,

The quality of the tires determines if the car skids or not.
How will your "safety device" measure the age and quality of the tires?? Many people drive on worn out old tires.
On my worn out old tires my car skidded and hydroplaned all the time, even going slowly. My new tires NEVER skid, at double the caution speed limit on curves, even in the rain.
When I cruise safely around a curve the digital sign flashes, "Too fast, too fast".

I think the "caution" speed limit on curves is for little old ladies who drive on worn out old tires.
How will your "safety device" measure whether a driver is a little old lady??:)
