HELP:spectral time-frequency analysis using fourier algorith

Need to develop a stand alone application using Visual C++ and MATLAB which can be used to analyze and estimate the power spectral density of a particular input signal. plese help me i not used 2 MATLAB can anyone guide me 2 start my project n finish it. is there matlab codes that i reffer on. i have attached flow chart for the soft ware i'm going to built. i need to learn how da software works and to generate this file. plz help. i will be very thankful to who ever that helps me

You have to just take the FFT of the signal and then take the square of the components thereafter .
By plotting this graph you can get the PSD graph of the signal.

P.S. If your doing in MATLAB then fft,square,plot functions are useful.
