Hi

I have to design a divider for 16 bit dividend and divisor producing 16 bit quotient. 16 bit unsigned number has 10 bit integer part and 6 bit fractional part. The emphasis is on speed. I was going through various architecture and I narrowed down to 2 of them, SRT division with radix 2 and Non-restoring Array divider. SRT radix 4 wont be possible because to time constraint

Can anyone suggest which will be a better choice in terms of speed.

Thanks.
