help regarding ethernet with microblaze

Hi ,
Im using spartan 3e and want to use ethernet to tx and rx data from fpga.
I hv used microblaze processor but not getting help regarding ethernet to use with it.
shud i use standalone OS or xilkernel or uclinux...and what steps shud i follow??
I have also studied lwIP, but not getting the proper steps to use ethernet.
Help me plz...

you should learning emaclite's API and read the example.then try to init your ethernet.
those things can be found in EDK directory

hmm i found them ... I was thinking that i may get some documentation
which cud help me in writing the program that how to use macros and drivers.

hi, rehan,
I am faced with the same problem, i.e. fpga pc connection via ethernet. Have you figured out whether or not OS is necessary?
Hope you can direct me for the problem, as I am lost as you were....
