I'm trying to copy the program from p89lv51rb2 by read the memory on flash magic and save the code in hex file and load it to a new MCU, when i read a new memory of new MCU it displays fffff and it does not work, can anyone help me please?

Hi,

So if the read out hex file not empty (not 0xFF), then obviously it's not written correctly into the new microcontroller.

How can we help?
We don't know which programmer, which setup, which wiring, which microcontroller, which power supply, which programming software you use.
Nor do we see the programmer's messages.

I'm using a serial port programmer
The Microcontroller is p89v51rd2
And the program is flash magic

And, what is the content of your hex file from original controller? If it's 0xFF, you have locked controller so no reading from it's flash is possible.
it's a cod for HMI screen.

Hi,

to me it seems you did not care of step 3: Choose the programming file.

in either case I´d expect the verify to fail. I don´t see any information ragarding this.
