HELP: No data file generated by hspiceS simulation.

unable to checkout cdsaawaves

I have installed Cadence IC 5.0.33 and hspice 2003.03 in Mandrake 9.2. When I choose hspiceS simulator in ADE to run a transient analysis, both CIW and simulatin log file show the simulation completed successfully. But I can't plot any signals. I am sure that I have choose "save all node voltage" option. But no data file created. I have search the simulation directory and found no .tr0 file.
Any one can help me? Thanks in advance.

But I am talking about hspiceS for Cadence ADE. Usually Cadence generate the proper netlist automatically. We don't need to add .option post to the generated netlist, right? (It is necessary in standalone hspice simulation, but not in ADE).

Now I have found the problem, but no solution. It is stated in the "Known problem and solution":
PCR 556965: Hspice simulator does not support PSF output on Linux

Update-- August 29, 2003: Identified in IC 5.0.33

Description: On the LINUX platform, the current version of the Hspice simulator may not write valid PSF data after simulation. Therefore, the analog design environment post simulation processing (plotting, printing) may not work.

Solution:None.

So, no one use hspiceS in Cadence IC5.0 for Linux?

I have the same problem in hspice 2003.03.
There is no problem in hspice 2003.09.

Hi xdlile,
Thank you very much. It's my fault. I am using hspice 2003.03, not hspice 2003.09.
I can't get hspice 2003.09 now. But I know the problem now with your help.
