Hi all,
I am generating BRAM using coregen...I need a edif of the same, but coregen is not generating edif for BRAM. I have set the "edif netlist" in "project options". But i'm able generate edif for FIFO using same options in coregen.
Is it coregen doesnt generate edif for memory(BRAM)?
If not, is there any other way so that i get edif for BRAM?

Thanx in advance

I don't believe Coregen will generate .ngc files for BRAMs. I have only ever used BRAM ngc's, never EDIFs.

If you really did need an EDIF, just synthesize the NGC for the BRAM.

Thanx for your reply.....
I'm sure Coregen will generate .ngc for BRAM.
Ok I will synthesize ngc to generate edif.....

Sorry, I meant to say that I don't believe Coregen will generate EDIFs for BRAMs.

Dohh!
