cadence ams view

When i run a mixed signal simulation on cadence AMS,HED show these error:

ncelab :*w, CUNOUN: Can not find any unit under tsmc18rf.nmos2v:symbol in the design libralies

could anyone help me to solve this problem?
thanks

cadence mixed signal simulation

1.is it necessary to get a "ams" view included in the pdk?
2.if there is only a "symbol" of the "nmos2v" in the pdk, how can i get it?

ams+cunoun

You should create a config view first. When you run AMS, make sure to update your config view as long as you modify the schematic view. Be sure to re-netlist the design.

Re: help---mixed signal simulation problem of the cadence AM

hi edajason

what you said i have done. so far, i find the problem maybe come from the tsmc18rf PDK, because the test-DUT can run very well on the AMS enviroment when i use gpdk090 PDK. but i don't have any idea what to do next.

could you please tell me how to modify tmsc18rf?

Probably you could track your netlist where the nmos2v comes from. If you would like to modify your tsmc18rf lib, better make a copy and make your own lib. And re-define your model library setup in the Artist Environment.

Hi saiaoying
I met this problem too. Have you solved it?
I have tried many different setting, but it does not work!

Thank you!
Best regards!

I have found the way to solve this problem.
Because the AMS simulation is different from spectre, so we must use the CIW-Conversion Tool Box-AMS simInfo form Spectre to creat the simulation information of the PDK.
After doing that, the simulation can run right.

Best regards!

guys, I have the same problem.
I have the problem in both analogLib for NMOS4 instance and all PDK instances
gaom9, could you please explain in more details?
