Hello,

lets say i want to make a simple board with PIC on it, the board will be connected to the PC by USB. There will be an C# Application running on the PC, which can turn ON/OFF different leds on board..

do i have to choose PIC18F2455/2550/4455/4550 series chip for this project?

or i can use any other PIC also?

Any of those will work. I use the 18F4550 on my Unicorn kit.

Re: USB Device with PIC

i saw PIC18F2450-I/SP on futurlec.com which costs only 3.90$, but PIC18F4550 costs 6.90$

i think PIC18F2450-I/SP also can do such job..isnt it?

why did u prefer to use 4550?

Re: USB Device with PIC

PIC18F2455/2550/4455/4550 are very similar, only difference between is in performance (memory capacity.....)

I prefer to use PIC18F2550
