Good morning Sir
my monitor is bad. Please cant you help me to localise the fault?
After several times of demagnetasation, it went off. I have check the supply fuse it is ok.
Hi,
I have the same monitor. It's died.
Unfortunately I don't have the schematic diagram.
In the attached pic I indicated (with a red arrow) a component (the green one) that's fried up: it's placed on TH602.
Could you please tell me what is it? It seems a capacitor but I can't read its value.
Hi piwo.
Thank you so much for your reply.
Don't worry for your english, mine is worse than yours.
I'm going to download the schematic. Hope it's the right one.
Could you repair your monitor? Mine's got problem with the power supply. I'm trying to repair the primary part.
By the way, could you tell me the voltage on pin 3 of the power supply IC, the 2S0880? I think the zener diode is out.
Let's try to repair our monitors together.
I could fix the power supply but now I have the same problems of yours.
Do this way: put away the component I indicated with the red arrow (please tell me its code, I lost mine) and connect a 60W lamp on the pins C and E of the board (where the component was connected).
Try this way and see if the lamp turns on and check the voltage at its pins.
With the green arrow I indicated the other component (2S0880) where I need to know the voltage (pin 3).
Let me know
TH602 is a thermistor - usually used in degaussing circuits.
Don't know what the part number is .. they are usually not critical to monitor,
with the exception of it's primary purpose.
