help me instaling ns2

i m trying to install ns2(Network Simulator) on fedora core 2. i couldnt find a binary for it. i m using the source and compiling it. some error occurs during compiling the source. plz help me if anyone has installed it on fedora core2.
 

you can download cygwin, it is a LINUX base, then install NS_2 on cygwin.
It is easier without any error.
 

you can also try to download globalsim which is pretty nice simulation tool for ad-hoc wireless simulation
