HI,

I am using AD7840 14 bit DAC IC , its output varies from -3V to +3V but I want the output to be varied from 0V to 10V, can u help me to get this output from AD7840 or suggest some other 14 bit parallel loading voltage out DAC with this voltage.

Thanx

Hi

it seems simple, but you need basic knowledge about electronics, more presicely op-amps. You didn't mention the operation frequency, so yo need to care about it when selecting an op-amp.

First you attenuate your signal by a factor of (3-(-3))/10= 0.6 -it can be done with a voltage divider- then using an op-amp substrac from the resulting signal a dc voltage of -3Vdc, then your input signal can vary from 0 to 10V, but it is conditioned to the adc input voltage.

cheers
