I have a VR3 diving computer with a big problem. The guy who designed it was not too smart. The computer has a metal case and inside there is an 100x64 dots LCD. The spacing between the lcd corners and the case is only 0.5 mm, so the smallest bump on the case will destroy the corner of the lcd and there you have some missing lines. I want to replace it since the computer has some interesting functions and I don't want to trash it, but I don't want to pay to the manufacturer over 100 pounds to replace a part cracked from their mistake.
The problem is that I can't find the part over the net, so I need a bit of help.

The LCD is made from two parts: the screen which has a flexible printed circuit, with the controller on it ( SED1565T04 ) and 43 pins on the end. This is connected to a board which has an EL (electroluminescent) sheet and another flat flexible cable with 22 connections on it.
Some of the markings on the module are:
MWE100064D0
P06100064B1

The module size is approx. 53x41mm and visible area approx. 38x28mm.
Can anyone tell me where can I find this part or at least the screen with the controller on it? Thank you.

this is not even a problem of money. VR technology no longer provides after-sales services VR3 to promote the VRX.
I have the same screen problem, so if someone has an idea.
The manufacturer logo looks like a Y in a large C (almost a circle)

It is a problem of honesty, of course. As I told you on PM, this fault is typical for this unit and it is a design fault which is put on the customers back. A lot of VR3 owners have the same problem.
The LCD is mounted very tight inside the case and the slightest bump will ***** the LCD corner, and that is the place where connections between controller and center lines are placed.
