help: how to download suse "ISO version"?

how to download suse, is there any ISO, I tried a lot ftp, but never find ISO.

what i found is just some big diretory tree, and don't know how to deal with them.

any idea or advice.

hello!
as far as i know you cannot download latest Suse OS ISO, because there are some copyrighted (!GPL) tool in the main distribution (eg: YaST2)
If you want you can download the "free" distribution taking one by one rpm packages and assemble your own boot CD.
or you can use another distribution.

the only SuSE ISO version freely downloadable is a live cd not installable on hard disk

You can download the Live Evaluation version. Then you can install it on the harddisk.

the one can not be used for installation,

it is kind of system on CD and different from knoppix CD from which you can install knoppix.
