Hi all,
I’m wondering how to install a drop-in circulator which has a rectangle base, a cylinder, and 3 flat leads on the same plane of the base. Somebody say that a RECTANGLE hole should be cut in PCB and the circulator should be mounted on chassis and fit into the hole. But I haven’t dealt with the chassis design now, and think it is more feasible to cut a CIRCULAR hole in PCB and fix the device onto the board directly by screws. However, the leads will be soldered to the microstrip lines on the bottomlayer. I’m not sure this method is reasonable. Suggestions please!
Thanks!
