Hi,

I have to make the temperature of an object to be sensed and then for it to be cooled or heated according to the preset value in the microcontroller (has to be 8051).

How can I accomplish this? I am using the attached circuit for the temperature sensor. Is it okay? Testing and interfacing of ADC0804 microcontroller 8051 Interfacing with the LM35 Temperature S.jpg

Now, I need to the heating element and cooling element, and signals from the microcontroller should activate them. The sensor should keep checking the temperature and send this to the microcontroller. Microcontroller then switches on heating element or cooling element and adjusts the temperature back to preset.

Can someone say which heating or cooling element I can choose? I am guessing I would require a DAC which will go to the fan or nichrome wire to produce a proportional magnitude of cooling or heating.
