hamiltonian mechanics tutorial

I don't any knowledge of Hamiltonian mechanics and how can we apply it can any one tell me a good resource.

There is a free book on Google called:
"Lectures on Mechanics" Jerrold Marsden
There is a chapter on hamiltonian mechanics.
You can also see Schaum's outlines on mechanics.
