embedded linux gui

I'm working on a ARM9 based linux device. Using ELDK, so far I've played with console, now it's time to write a program with graphical interface.

I've take a look at microwindows, fltk, sdl and directfb. SDL seems more promising. But still not easy as writing GUI programs under winCE or windows.

Is there any RAD enviroment like (Delphi,VB,C++ Builder) for embedded linux. Prefably LGPL or GPL licensed ?

What do you think is the most dominant method to write GUI applications in embedded processors ?
