GPS problem. Pls HELP

I have a GPS module model number UR-87 from Progin.
I interfaced it with my PC, and established serial communication via hyper terminal.
the module displayed few messages on monitor

Now few people told me that "These look hardware and firmware information. Probably they are initialization data. If the module send this all the time it means that it tries to initialize but for some reason it resets and starts over. I would suggest that you try to reset the GPS module to factory settings, if this doesn't work try to load the firmware to the GPS module again and if it's still not working, try with a new module."

I want to know if the module is faulty, can i use its antenna with different reciever module (antenna is seperate there's a provision to connect antenna witha wire having a patch like smthng at its one end)
If my antenna is good, and only reciever chip has problem than i am planning to buy reciever IC Complete Stand-Alone GPS Receiver Solution with MAX2742.
Actually i want to interface this GPS device with my PIC16f877a microcontroller.
Can i interface that antenna using MAX2742 IC with PIC16f877a MCU??
What else can i do to interface the GPS antenna with MCU?
I have to submit this project (GPS Tracking system) on 10th DEcember.
Please help me.
Answer my questions.
and if possible give me circuit diagram for project.

I think gps receiver send lot of strings at a time which one we required we filter out,like your project about gps tracking you required for this $gprmc string,
your gps receiver have no problem
