GPS Module Help Required

Helloo,

1) Can anyone tell me which cheapest/Best GPS Module Available to interface with PIC Microcontroller ?

2) How to Get time from GPS Module ? because i have never seen anywhere about time, only co-ordinates are available from NMEA Data available from GPS.

I want to make a clock which will have always accurate time from GPS. So Please guide me which GPS module should i buy and how to extract time from it ? at which channel ?

you can get time from GGA and GPGGA etc.. read the manual

Hi

Yes you can get the time using the GPGGA line formet, these are GMT time formet you have to convert it to our local standard time by adding time to it...
