GPRS connection using mobile phone and AT Commands

I know that this topic had been discussed many times before throughout this forum, so I will be very specific.

Have anyone managed to establish a GPRS connection using just a mobile phone and AT Commands?

I managed to do it with ADH8066 GSM module, but I'm asking specifically about using mobile phone (any phone).
