got a problem with Cadence SpectreS

Hi all,

I am trying to design a amplifier using BJT. While changing the property of the BJT it asks for parameter like model name, area, region etc.

I am not able to figure out what the model name is. I tried NPN, NPNMOD but to no avail. moreover it is asking for a .m file......

If anybody has any idea about it, please reply to me

you should specify the model file, which will give you the model name for the transistor

I am working with cadence SpectreS. I think i have all MOS Model files only. IS there any way by which i can get BJT model files?

I recommend you to use NMOS instead of using NPN.

The thing is that i am simulating a MMIC amplifier. I got its Circuit diagram from the datasheet and it uses a BJT.
