having tryed many different things and got know i am stuck and in need of some help.

heres the story (again) i have created a memory module using core generator for the virtexII pro FPGA and have data stored on in the module. What i now need to do is get this memory data from my XUP board which contains the FPGA to the PC.

The board has a serial port and a USB port , altough i dont know if the USB port can be used for anything else apart from programming. Are these possible ways to get the data out ?

Real help needed.

Thanks

Stuart

serial port and state machine can do. Use state machine to control access to the memory and serial port
