i want to vary frequency as i want from pc...

if i entered 1.1 on my pc then i have to got 1.1KHz frequency(square wave) from the controller..
please help me,,,thanx in advance

Which uc will you use?

You could send the value using uart and a terminal program, then use the value in the uc to generate a squarewave with that frequency with the help of a timer.

You can request a frequency from 1Hz up to 40000Hz SQAURE (or other with the same as Sunsu,triangle,saw..)
